We are currently seeking a Tier 3 Engineer to join our exciting and entrepreneurial company.
The Lloyd Group is a team of experienced and educated trusted business advisors. We focus on delivering technology solutions for our clients that provide the highest level of stability, security and productivity possible. We then utilize our industry leading IT support model to manage our clients’ technology infrastructures, so they can focus on managing their business.
The Tier 3 Technical Engineer is a member of the technical management team and will primarily troubleshoot and repair advanced client IT issues and manage advanced level projects assigned to them by their manager. They also act as an escalation point for tier 2 technical engineers and respond to critical or emergency incidents.

Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair advanced client IT issues.
• Perform advanced maintenance and system administration tasks.
• Manage projects assigned by their manager.

• Train junior engineers and technicians.
General Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Willingness to pursue professional certifications.
• Project management experience.
• Proven ability to resolve advanced technical issues.

Certification Requirements
• A+, Network +, or any hardware or software specific certification. Examples would be Blackberry, Citrix, Fortinet etc.
• Two Microsoft certifications in the path of MCITP.
• One foundation level Cisco certification such as CCENT, or CCNA.
Promotion Requirements
• Candidates must be approved and nominated by their current manager.
• Internal candidates must have been in the tier 2 engineer position for a minimum of one full year.
• Candidates must meet all tier 3 job requirements.
• Candidates must submit an essay detailing why they should be promoted.
• Candidates must pass three interviews with senior technical personnel.
